Lakewood High School - Mr. Kevin Moore

For over five decades I have walked the face of this earth and nearly half of those have been as an educator. I love my job because I get to interact with students and play with toys!

This will be my tenth year at Lakewood High School and my 24th year as a Jeffco teacher. For eighteen of those years, I have taught high school Physics.

I have a Bachelors' degree in Engineering Physics from the Colorado School of Mines and a Master's degree in Information and Learning Technologies from CU Denver. I am involved continually in ongoing courses and educational opportunities so that I continue to learn and to grow.

I have been happily married to my wonderful wife for over 20 years. We have one high school age child and one starting college. We love our children deeply.

These are just pieces of my background and training that qualify me for the work I do. I believe that I possess a good understanding of teaching and learning. I understand education from the perspective of a teacher, from the perspective of a parent and from the perspective of a student. I also understand physics and technology. I hope my experience and joy in teaching benefit you as a student and you as a parent.
