Rocket
Club meets every week in room B212. Times to be determined
soon.
We will soon be entering this year's Team
America Rocketry Challenge. This year's (TARC
2008) competition goal is to keep a 1-stage rocket carrying
2 raw eggs aloft for exactly 45 seconds while reaching a
target altitude of 750 feet. The national competition
will be in Virginia on May 17th of 2008.
Rocketry is great fun and it really puts some of our Physics
knowledge into practice.
