Physical Education

      A healthy body promotes a healthy mind. Research has proven that students who elect to include physical education get better grades than those who do not. Lakewood’s Physical education department emphasizes the development of a healthy body through fitness, lifetime sports, fun, and relaxation. P.E. classes are available for all grade levels. Each class may be repeated for credit since skills will improve and sports may vary with the class interests. Students are required to purchase and wear the official Lakewood High School uniform for daily classes. Students may be limited to one physical education class per semester.
