The Lakewood High School Individual Instruction Department wants all students to gain comfort and competence, both in and outside the academic classroom. Our goal is to give students a reasonable chance to acquire a high school diploma in the least restrictive environment.
Our department promotes student growth and achievement in providing a positive and supportive classroom, structuring and managing the learning environment, social competence, communicative competence, and functional living competence.
The Individual Instruction Department will be responsible for coordination of schedules, transcript review, IEP planning and review, eligibility, and transistional goals.
